DEEP Analysis Module

We are thrilled to introduce the latest release of the DEEP Analysis Module, a powerful tool for creating and conducting detailed analyses. This module empowers you to delve into the depths of your data and derive valuable insights. In this release, we have added a range of new features and enhancements to elevate your analytical capabilities.

Here's the link to the video tutorial on DEEP Analysis Module.

Here's a breakdown of what's new:

1. Concept and Module Elements

Foundational Concept: The Analysis Module is built on the idea of treating each pillar of your framework as an analysis block, encompassing sub-pillars. This structure simplifies your analysis and enhances clarity.

Analysis Canvas: The Analysis Module comprises three key elements. The Analysis Canvas is where you create, conduct, and view your analysis. It includes analytical statements, information gaps, and more, with the ability for team leaders to review and edit.

Analysis Engine: This component enables you to group entries into stories, facilitating organization and presentation of your analysis.

Story Analysis Module: Dive deep into each story using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and graphs. Write analytical statements, identify information gaps, and enhance the depth of your analysis.

2. Creating and Managing Analyses

Creating New Analyses: You have the flexibility to create new analyses or update existing ones. Start a new analysis from scratch or clone an existing one for easy updates.

Configuring Analyses: Easily set up new analyses with details like title, team lead, start and end dates, pillar analyses, and assignees. You can include as many pillars as needed for your analysis.

Managing Analyses: Edit, clone, export, or delete your analysis blocks. Add new pillars to your analysis at any time to ensure they reflect your current insights.

3. Analysis Engine

Analyzing Pillars: Select the pillar you want to analyze, and the Analysis Engine provides key metrics, including entry categorization and organization.

Entry Filters: Efficiently filter entries by various criteria, such as Created Date, Source Title, or Lead Published. The "Auto Cluster" feature uses NLP to group entries based on similarity, enhancing analysis efficiency.

Entry Cards: Each entry is presented as a card, offering quick access to source previews, entry details, and tagging information.

4. Story Analysis Module

Tools and Insights: The Story Analysis Module provides NLP tools and insights for a deeper analysis experience. Tools include tracking the number of sources and entries, source diversity, geographic mapping, N-grams, context search, and automatic summaries.

Generating Analysis and Formatting: Easily generate analysis by selecting entries, and format your analysis for clarity and impact. Customize the text with formatting options like Bold or Italics.

Information Gaps and Analytical Statements: Identify information gaps and craft analytical statements to ensure a well-rounded analysis.

5. Saving and Updating

Saving and Closing: Save your story and analysis, ensuring your work is securely stored and accessible for future reference.

Adding New Stories: Easily update your analysis with new information by adding new stories. This keeps your analysis up-to-date as your project evolves.

Ongoing Editing and Additions: Enjoy the flexibility to edit your analysis even after saving it. New entries that align with your pillar analyses are automatically reflected, keeping your insights current.

DEEP Reporting Module

We are excited to announce the latest release of the DEEP Reporting Module, a powerful tool for designing, editing, and sharing web reports. This module is designed to help you organize your insights based on the pillars and sub-pillars of your analysis framework. In this release, we have introduced several new features and improvements to enhance your reporting experience.

Here's the link to the video tutorial of DEEP Reporting Module.

Here's what's new:

1. Creating a New Report

Creating a New Report: Begin by ensuring that you have performed an analysis on the selected project. Head over to the Analysis tab, scroll down to locate the specific analysis you want to create a report for, and click on 'Reports.'

2. Importing Analysis

Importing Analysis: The Reporting Module will import each of the pillars that have been analyzed, including the 'main statement,' 'information gaps,' and the analysis text for each story. A Table of Contents will be automatically generated to help you navigate the report.

3. Customization and Editing

Save Your Report: At any point, you can save your report by clicking 'Save' in the upper right corner. Fill in details like 'Title,' 'Subtitle,' and a 'Slug' for the URL, and select the organizations involved in the report.

Editing Your Report: Think of your report as a canvas where you can arrange and tailor different content blocks as you wish.

Adding Blocks: To add new content blocks, hover over elements and use the buttons with a plus sign to add adjacent blocks to your report.

Headings: Add customized headings with various styling options.

Text Content: Add and style text content with formatting options.

Adding Images: Include images with alternate text and captions, and customize their appearance.

Embedded URLs: Embed various content types, like videos, dashboards, PDF reports, and more.

4. Tailor Your Report

Tailoring Your Report: Customize your report to include different elements that support your analysis. Stay tuned for additional features, such as chart integration and map customization.
