Having noticed a handful of CPU issues in the last year -- most unresolved -- I decided to go through our list of issues (closed and open) from the initial launch of Desktop TNG. I compiled a list of the ones that are mainly affecting CPU and performance across multiple users using both OSX and Windows.

@jss367 I'm afraid I have no theory on what could have caused this either. I'm glad that it's working for you again. However unsatisfactory it might be we're just gonna have to chalk it up to a weird one-off environmental issue then. If it pops up again please let us know!
