Become a sponsor to Mike Hadlow
Hi, I'm Mike Hadlow, I mostly work in the .NET space. I'm the creator of EasyNetQ, Guitar Dashboard, AsmSpy, and a number of other open source projects. EasyNetQ is the most popular .NET client library for RabbitMQ, and has had more than 4 million downloads on NuGet.org, AsmSpy is many .NET developers' go-to tool for investigating dependency version conflicts. Guitar Dashboard has held the top spot on Hacker News and is used by many professional guitar teachers to help their students visualise music theory concepts.
I've been doing open source for at least 10 years, without any thought of asking for sponsorship. I've always done it either to solve my own problems, or simply for fun. However, since GitHub have provided this very nice mechanism to allow us OSS developers to get a little financial reward I'm very happy to try it out. I would of course be very grateful if you find my work valuable enough to consider sponsoring me. If it means I can afford to spend more time working on my various projects I'd be very happy indeed.
I also blog at Code Rant on all things software development related. It's held the top spot on both Hacker News and Reddit on several occasions and typically gets around 1000 page views per day. I've always resisted putting adds on it because I feel it would distract from its purpose and I don't want to create content for content's sake. But any sponsorship would also help free up time for writing.
So, many thanks for taking the time to check out my sponsorship page, and for taking an interest in my open source work. I really appreciate it.
