My name is Ayesh Karunaratne, and I'm the author of PHP.Watch, a website containing detailed information on what's new, changed, deprecated, and removed in each PHP version. PHP.Watch also features PHP news and articles, as well as APIs and feeds for PHP releases and RFCs.

I also spend a lot of time on conferences talks. I have spoken at PHP and security related conferences such as DrupalCon, Dutch PHP Conference, PHP Japan, Secure OS Day, and other meetups as well. Super passionate about modernizing PHP, Security, new PHP features, and security.

I also regularly contribute to Drupal, WordPress, Symfony (polyfills), and Composer. Most of my past contributions have been related to fixing their compatibility with the latest PHP versions (for which, WordPress and Drupal in particular could use a lot of help), and I'm motivated to continue to check and submit fixes for other popular projects as well.
