Also have a look at other test suites that might have extensive tests for DOM api methods:

• jsdom
• browsers?
• phantomjs

There's been some talk started about finding some standard set of Shadow DOM V1 tests that we might be able to collab on: webcomponents/webcomponents.github.io#329 (comment).
