The percona-nagios-plugins Debian/Ubuntu package installs the Nagios plugins in /usr/lib64/... instead of /usr/lib/... like all the other Nagios plugins, see for example the nagios-plugins-contrib package.

See the Multiarch pages for Debian and Ubuntu that explains their implementation to support multiarch:

This PR moves the installation dir of the Nagios plugins for the DEB packages to /usr/lib/nagios/plugins in accordance with Debian/Ubuntu multiarch implementation.

We asked exactly the same a few week ago, but @roman-vynar didn't want to change.

We fixed it like this.

Thanks @tersmitten for the information. Do you know why? I've looked into closed issues/PRs and didn't find your question.

Okay okay 😇I will take a look for the next release.

P.S. @volans- it was in the old bug tracker https://bugs.launchpad.net/percona-monitoring-plugins/+bug/1526412

Thanks for taking this change into consideration (and the reference to the old bug report). Really appreciated.
