This is the 2023a release of EGSnrc. This update is released to resolve a Windows compilation bug related to git
and time zones. Please see the full changelog for details. This release only updates the source code. To obtain the GUIs and sample data, scroll down to the initial 2023 release and expand the assets

EGSnrc 2023
This is the 2023 release of EGSnrc (there was no release in 2022). Notable changes from the previous version are listed in the release notes. Please review the recommended way to cite EGSnrc. To install EGSnrc, clone the repository and follow the installation instructions for your operating system. In addition, the assets below provide:
- the configuration GUIs for Linux and Windows (these include the pre-compiled GUIs);
- pre-compiled GUIs for Linux and Windows (egs_gui, egs_inprz, and egs_view);
- an archive of all the EGSnrc manuals available on http://nrc-cnrc.github.io/EGSnrc/; and
- additional sample data sets in support of some EGSnrc examples.

EGSnrc 2019a update
This is the 2019a release of EGSnrc. This release reverts a bug introduced in release 2019, which may cause spurious geometry errors inside egs++ conestack geometries. Backwards incompatibilities
- egs++ rotation transformations
- if you are using an old egs++ inputfile with rotation transformations, the y-axis rotation direction has changed

EGSnrc 2016
This is the 2016 release of EGSnrc, which marks the first official release of EGSnrc on github, under the terms of the AGPL 3.0 licence. EGSnrc releases are now tagged by year, and v2016 follows the deprecated version number V4-2.4.0 (released in March 2013). BEAMnrc is now integrated in EGSnrc and does not need to be installed separately.
You should download the EGSnrc source code from the github repository (and not from the source code archives listed at the bottom of this release), as per the installation instructions for your operating system. This release page provides:
- the configuration GUIs for Linux and Windows;
- the standalone GUIs for Linux and OS X when installing with the
configure
script; - an archive of all the EGSnrc manuals available on http://nrc-cnrc.github.io/EGSnrc/; and
