Here we provide Fiji packages that are already subscribed to the Neuroanatomy update site and contain the scripts of this repository. These are portable applications that can be installed locally and co-exist in parallel with other Fiji/ImageJ installation(s). These files were created to facilitate the revision of the manuscript.
NB:
- Please download the ZIP for your platform somewhere in your home directory (e.g., Desktop, or Downloads) rather than a system-wide directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\ on Windows)
- The default amount of RAM allocated to Fiji may not be suitable to all systems. If somehow you run into memory issues, please adjust the amount of available memory using Fiji's Edit>Options>Memory & Threads... command. As a rule of thumb, consider allocating 80% of all the RAM available on your machine
- Sciview functionality remains under active development and thus experimental
- MacOS:
- Since Fiji.app (here renamed Fiji-SNT.app) has not been notarized by Apple, you will have to open it by right-click on its icon and choosing 'Open' from the contextual menu, rather than double-clicking on it
- MacOS 10.12 (Sierra) and later have a security feature called Path Randomization that may cause Fiji's directory to be read-only. You can disable path randomization by dragging Fiji.app (here renamed Fiji-SNT.app) to another folder and then (optionally) dragging it back. See here for details.
