Usage:

Adding the depencency

Add this to your root build.gradle file:

allprojects {
    repositories {
        ...
        maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
    }
}

Now add the dependency to your app build.gradle file:

implementation 'com.github.marcoscgdev:CurrencyEditText:1.0.1'

Using the widget

<com.marcoscg.currencyedittext.CurrencyEditText
    android:id="@+id/editText"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content" />

Retrieving the value

val value = currencyEditText.getNumericValue()

Using a custom locale

currencyEditText.setLocale(Locale.UK)

Setting max number length

currencyEditText.setMaxLength(6)
