This is a Socket.io web application built using NodeJS and ExpressJS. It is a simple chat application that allows users to connect to a server and chat with each other in real time.
To get started, you will need to have NodeJS and npm installed on your computer. Once you have those installed, you can clone this repository and install the dependencies:
git clone https://github.com/kaifkhan1/node-socket-app.git
npm install -> To install all the Node Dependencies used
npm start
The server will start listening on port 3000. You can open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to connect to the chat application.
The chat application has the following features:
- Users can connect to the server and chat with each other in real time.
- Messages are sent and received in real time.
- Users can see who is currently connected to the chat application.
