• Discuss backport tracking via gerrit Change-ID [shyam]
  • Change-ID makes it easier to track backports.
  • Backport guidelines mention the need to use the same Change-ID for backports.
    • But isn't enforced.
  • How to we enforce it?
    • Jenkins job that checks if Change-ID for new reviews on release branches exists on master [nigelb]
      • Yes [kshlm, shyam, vbellur]
      • shyam will inform the lists before we proceed
