Glossary
A site that does not specify its own payment pointer in a monetization meta tag in the head of the site, but is Web Monetized via Coil. Some examples of Adapted Sites include Youtube and Twitch.
For YouTube, Coil injects a monetization meta tag with the creator's payment pointer into the head of the page. Only some of the accounts on Youtube are monetized, depending on if the Youtube channel creator has registered their Youtube channel as well as their payment pointer in their Coil creator account settings.

For Twitch, streamers with a Twitch Partner or Affiliate account automatically get monetized via Coil's special integration. Coil injects a special payment pointer of the form <meta name="monetization" content="$spsp.coil.com/twitch/CREATOR_USERNAME">
to the page.

- Visit the site without being logged into the Coil extension (or without Coil installed). Note whether the Akita extension indicates if the site is Web Monetized or not.
- Install the Coil extension and log into your Coil account (an active paying membership is not necessary). Note whether the Akita extension indicates if the site is Web Monetized or not.
If at 1. the site is not monetized according to Akita, but at 2. the site is monetized according to Akita and Coil, then the site should be an Adapted Site.
