We are excited to present JQM 3.0.0, the first release in the 3.x line, aiming at making the already ten years old JQM ready for the next decade!
It brings a major overhaul of the JQM internals, aiming at delivering better performances, a more modern and maintenable codebase as well as enabling easier delivery of more features in future releases.
The most visible change is the new GUI, which was fully rewritten. It is more reactive and user-friendly.
It also deals with the obsolescence of many components: old Java versions are dropped, new TLS ciphers are supported, IPv6 is now supported, the CLI was rewritten…
