In one of the recent PRs, some of the welding tutorial changes were merged in, but it was far from being done.
This PR will wrap up the welding tutorial. As of now, the workflow is done, I just need to get things dialed in (system size, number of steps) and add the text.
This also changes a couple things in the welding module...I thought they were already implemented, but I guess not.
