During the design, all segments are not well organized, due to file export and design process (mainly working with svg files).
The consequence is during the engraving, the head may do a lot of useless moves, and those may impact the precision and the connection of segments (small drift each time).
So a tool has been added to optimize the current GCode in "File > Optimize Path". When clicked, the current loaded GCode is optimized and the result is used.

It also helps to save time and reduce file size, but it's not the main purpose.
