NouVet is an app for pet owners.
- Enable pet owners to control the medical history of their pets. As over time, veterinary clinics can change, people are forgetful, and pets do not talk (yet), it is important to have a place for keeping all this info for years.
- Spread the knowledge about the care our animals require. As many people start owning the pets, only few actually research how to take care of them.
- Enable pet owners to mark what's important. As pets cannot talk (yet), pet owners may encounter a weird behaviour of their animals and forget about it. This information can be crucial for doctors, during an emergency visit. No high hopes on extensive usage of this feature though :)
- Keep the app free and as cheap to run as possible. Building a web app nowadays is pretty cheap, and many services provide their compute resources for free (until the limits). Is it possible to create a free app for the good of many?
