What is openVuln API?

The Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) openVuln API is a RESTful API that allows customers to obtain Cisco Security Vulnerability information in different machine-consumable formats.

Technical information about the API can be obtained from: https://developer.cisco.com/site/PSIRT/get-started/getting-started.gsp

The Cisco PSIRT openVuln API can be accessed via the Cisco API Console.. The API allows Cisco partners and customers to access and consume Cisco data in the cloud in a simple, secure and scalable manner. The Cisco API Console Documentation explains the steps necessary to obtain oAuth2 credentials and using Cisco's API Console for the registration of a client application that will call the Cisco PSIRT openVuln API.
