Q: I am getting a message that my Performance Counter cache is corrupted. How can I fix this?
- To fix this, you need to run a CMD command as administrator:
- Open Start Menu
- Search for "Command Prompt"
- Right click on "Command Prompt"
- Click "Run as Administrator"
- Type in this command and press enter:
C:\windows\system32\lodctr /r
- If you receive an error, run this instead:
C:\windows\syswow64\lodctr /r
- If you are still getting the message. Please follow the steps in this article:
Q: I get an error when re-installing the app.
- There may be a .sys file in the install directory that has an exclusive lock on it.
- Please restart your PC and try the install again.
