Is this on a PC with enterprise policies? Or a regular home PC?

it´s also on windows 10 (latest build), no enterprise policies |
ADD it to exceptions. Never had a problem, win10 and win11 works fine. |

adding every malfunctioning program to the Antivirus exception list is - for obvious reasons - not an option. Why not shut down defender completely? - irony off- |
This issue keeps popping up but the answer remains the same. This is a false positive. It keeps happening because the program is not signed, it runs as admin, and it uses the kernel. Unfortunately, all of these factors combined resemble similar behavior to malware. Unfortunately, $200 a year for a code signing certificate for open source software I offer for free is not a fiscally responsible option for me. Unless someone does a big donation it's just not affordable. |
