Title: Waybar UI Too Large

Description:

I am experiencing an issue where the Waybar UI appears too large on my screen. Despite adjusting the font sizes and padding in the CSS configuration, the overall size of the bar and its elements remains larger than I would like.

Steps to Reproduce:

Install Waybar on my system (specify your operating system and any relevant version numbers).(1920 x 1080)
Configure Waybar with the following CSS settings (attach or link your CSS file).
Observe the size of the UI elements.

Expected Behavior:

I expected the Waybar UI elements to be smaller and more compact based on my configuration changes.

Actual Behavior:

The UI elements remain large, making it difficult to integrate the bar into my workflow comfortably.

Possible Solutions:

It would be helpful to have more granular control over the sizing of the UI elements or more options for compact mode.

Some information are missing from your comment, but I guess your resolution is FHD. I didn't try the config with a FHD screen for a while since my laptop and external screens use 1440p+ resolution. I'll try to see if I can change something about it. Can you please provide screenshots and your edited css configuration you've done so far?

Didn't have much time those past weeks. Tried something quick by creating a theme for the background bar, and after changing the font-size from 18 to 14px and the workspace button margin from 8 to 4px, it looks very fine to me.

You need to also look in the hyprland config for any monitor property with scaling, and set it to 1 as FHD doesn't need any scaling. Imma push the 2 bars as themes for reference soon :

• macchiato-fhd
• macchiato-bar-fhd

Feel free to tune it as you like, you can safely switch between themes without worrying about loosing your past config, as long as you put it in the hypr/waybar/themes directory
