Have you enabled the "Use Wiktionary definition" option? You have to change Word Wise language to Chinese on Kindle if it's enabled: https://xxyzz.github.io/WordDumb/usage.html#customize-word-wise

I have tried the several versions, and at last I found worddumb-v3.28.2 can work fine. but the V3.29.x has the same issue.

Please post your plugin's settings and check if the "Use Wiktionary definition" option is enabled.
