It seems like @wins1ey is inactive on GitHub. All of my attempts to personally contact them have failed.

I think it would be better to shift LibreSplit's development into its own organization/project as wins1ey's inactivity has kind of halted LibreSplit's development.

As far as i know hes busy doing university stuff, last time i contacted him was july 14. we do have write access to the repo so i guess we can live of it for now

I'm aware that we have write access but because this is his personal repo, it's kind of assumed that all merges have to be approved by him (this does seem to be the case as most open PRs right now are at a "lets wait for wins1ey to approve" status). AFAIK that's why the rule of 2 contributors having to approve PRs was originally added.

If LibreSplit was its own thing, I think it would be easier to develop LibreSplit as there would be less of a reason to have wins1ey directly involved with everything.

I see, he said he was going to sometime transfer the project into its own organization, i agree with you. i asked him through discord if he would transfer it (you probably already told him and didnt reply but theres no harm in trying again :3)
