CHILI Documentation and Training Resources User License (CHILI DTR-UL) - Versions 1.0
This license agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between CHILI publish NV (and all subsidiaries), a software organization ("Licensor"), and the person or entity accessing, using, or benefiting from the Documentation ("User"), and is effective as of the date of User's first access, use, or benefit of the Documentation.
1. Definitions:
1.1 "Documentation" refers to the information and other materials related to Licensor's Software and published by the Licensor on GitHub or elsewhere.
1.2 "Feedback" refers to suggestions, improvements, enhancements, contributions, and recommendations provided by the User to Licensor related to the Documentation or Software.
1.3 "Software" refers to the software developed, owned, or managed by Licensor, for which the Documentation is provided.
2. License Grant:
2.1 Licensor grants to User a right to use, copy, and redistribute the Documentation, and to remix, transform, and build upon the Documentation, solely on a non-commercial basis and strictly for internal operational processes, without payment of royalties or additional consideration to User.
2.2 User must give appropriate credit to Licensor, provide a link to this License, and indicate if changes were made to the Documentation. User may not suggest that Licensor endorses User or User's use of the Documentation.
2.3 If User remixes, transforms, or builds upon the Documentation, User must distribute the contributions under the same license as this Agreement.
2.4 User grants to Licensor, under all User’s intellectual property rights, a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right, with a right to grant sublicenses, to (i) reproduce, make derivative works of, distribute, and use such Feedback, (ii) incorporate such Feedback in the Software, and (iii) make, have made, use, sell, offer for sale, export, import and otherwise dispose of products that incorporate such Feedback.
3. General:
3.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Licensor is located, without regard to its conflicts of laws principles.
3.2 This Agreement may be modified or amended by the Licensor upon providing public notice to the User. Any such modifications or amendments shall be effective as of the date specified in such notice, or if no date is specified, upon the User's next access, use, or benefit of the Documentation following the notice.
3.3 If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
