Taskbar icons missing / confused using virtual desktops

I'm seeing issues with 23H2 and build 2506.60.1 using multiple virtual desktops. Taskbar icons will disappear (the application still available when using ALT+TAB, but no icon in the Taskbar.) Also seeing "invisible" icons (no actual icon but a hilighted box aorund it and an underline indicating that it's got an open window) as well as an icon in the taskbar on one desktop that's actually running in another one.

Restarting Explorer "fixes" this... until it happens again.

I've seen this happen before when EP is not installed.

I've also have this issue, where the taskbar icos are missing or taskbar icons from a different virtual desktop are "ghosted" onto the taskbar after switching. Restarting explorer fixes it.

I've noticed that it seems to happen only when running a specific program (Microsoft Flight Simulator). I wonder if it has to do with a full-screen application running?

Please post windows version and build if you have installed windows updates from this month. You can find this by running winver.
Please post explorer patcher version.

Please include what settings you changed in explorer patcher properties application. These should be screen shots.

Please include any other software you have installed that modifies the UI of windows.

Check what happens when using the console in explorer patcher. Open up the properties application for explorer patcher, go to advanced, and click on enable console.

Then run MS Flight Simulator, exit it, and check if it has happened. If it has, paste the output from the EP console.
