Would it be possible to set a command prefix and a command name?

For example
!request

If I type !request in to command prefix at the moment, it works as
"!requesttv "

if I type !request (with a space after request) - nothing works, !requesthelp, !request help - etc - nothing.

I would like the system to be
!request tv name

I'm also running into this after updating to the most recent master. Everything except the default prefix - seems to require an extra space
