Are you able to get yarn to work in Azure Function deploy?

I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier! I have not tried yarn, but I suspect it would not work because npm is installed as a binary, and yarn would not be by default.

I believe Azure Functions depends upon Azure's kudu deployment tools, have you inquired there?
