Is there a way to tell if the logger is still active?

I'm looking for a way to detect if the logger has not been shutdown or is shutdown to avoid stream closed exceptions. I'm using Tiny log 2.

if(!Logger.isShutdown()){
   // Continue to log
   Logger...
}

Unfortunately, there isn't yet any publicly available API to detect whether the logging framework has been shut down. However, it would be possible to implement this.
