What is the difference between Open Intent Detection and Out-of-domain Detection? #11
Comments
I have the same doubts, and I hope to get an answer and reply from the author. Thanks a lot~ |
Hi, first very sorry about my replying lateness. That's a very good question. Indeed, there are some differences between out-of-domain detection and open intent detection in some aspects: Finally, we would like to recommend you read our latest paper Learning Discriminative Representations and Decision Boundaries for Open Intent Detection. This paper stresses the difference between ood detection and open intent detection. Enjoy it! [1] A Baseline for Detecting Misclassified And Out-of-Distribution Examples in Neural Networks. |
Thanks for your reply. I get it. |
Nice work.
I have a question about the difference between Open Intent Detection and Out-of-domain Detection? It seems that some work[1-4] in Out-of-domain Detection very related to Open Intent Detection.
There are also two works published in TASLP related to this repository [5-6].
