DSC Trouble Status toggling repeatedly

I am using the HomeAssistant-MQTT example, and it has been working perfectly in reporting all the Zone states to HomeAssistant for months. But the Trouble Status looks strange in the HomeAssistant logbook. My DSC system has a persistent trouble flag because of old backup battery. In the HomeAssistant logbook it shows Trouble status toggling between no problem/problem. every few minutes.

I am not sure if this is a problem with dscKeybusInterface, MQTT, or HomeAssistant.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Had any progress? Have similar problems with Telegraf example. Receiving random troubles.

Has anyone confirmed that this is NOT normal operation for the panel? I believe that the panel cycles through test and retest of the battery until a good battery is connected. What you are seeing might be normal. Have you tried a good battery, or are you just trying to determine if this behavior is abnormal?
