Changing things not asked for

Whatever prompt is being sent to the LLM along with my requests needs to be updated. CUrrently Bolt is far too enthusiastic to change things which were not asked for. This morning I had a fully working app and I asked it to add some additional text to an existing paragraph. Instead of doing this it destroyed half teh app which now wont even start. Having worked on getting it started loads of teh content and functionality is missing. SImilar things keep happening, where it goes off modifying things that were not specifically requested.

Revert back to a previous build, but yes I agree bolt likes to wonder off and destroy shit. I feel like this Ai is programmed to fuck people over so you buy more tokens and the owners of bolt get filthy fucking rich. No way this app can build crazy shit but asking it to do the most basic thing and all hell breaks loose. Something fishy is happening with the app and those who control it / built it.

it would certainly be interesting to know if Stackblitz are making a profit on token sales! Th ebetter half of me wants to believe this is not a conspiracy!

The problem is that we expect the AI to understand all the things we want and without specifically prompting all the details of what we are thinking. So perhaps Bolt needs to add a functionality when prompting to "Only do exactly what I asked" and to not "imagine" what else I may be thinking.. I think now it's called "Enhanced prompt" feature, yet I think in general the coder LLM like Claude 3.5 Sonnet when doing coding projects is kind of forced to interpret "whatever more" the user might be thinking..
