I'm a backend developer ("engineer" if you prefer). I worked with a few languages over the years, now my current one is Python.
I'm passionate about the automation of tasks and making my life easier with scripts.
I am originally from SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil but now living in Berlin for a few years.
My main pet project is nitpick, a 340+ stars CLI tool that aims to standardise and maintain configuration files over multiple projects.
I'm also a happy geeky user of Logseq, where I write notes, maintain a private knowledge base and track tasks.
To help organise my notes, I created logseq-doctor, whose primary aim was to convert Markdown files to the Logseq format.
But I have been adding new functionality and I intend to add even more.
I also rely on Pyinvoke to automate my work.
So I created and shared a few global and reusable tasks with conjuring.
I have other small projects, mostly CLI tools like those above, in different stages of development, from alpha to production:
- nitpick: Enforce the same settings on multiple projects
- logseq-doctor: Logseq Doctor: heal your flat old Markdown files before importing them
- conjuring: π π€ Reusable global Invoke tasks that can be merged with local project tasks
- python-cdown: CLI interface and Python package to parse and validate CODEOWNERS files used by GitHub and GitLab (not tested with BitBucket yet)
- dontforget: Don't forget to do your chores (using Gmail, Toggl and more tools to come)
- daily-grind: Easily open all the apps you use every day
I work on these tools in my free time.
They still didn't get the traction I would like.
I hope they are useful for others, they are certainly useful for me.
I write code for myself first but always try to do it in a generic way so other people can also use my automation tools.
With a sponsorship, I would be able to dedicate even more time to adding more features to the tools.
Maybe even work on them full-time... who knows?
