Hello, My name is Christopher Carroll. I'm a predominantly self-taught developer who has a huge passion for artificial intelligence and open source software. I am developing Athena and the Sapphire Framework

I started working on this assistant to help me manage my ADHD. I recognized that the assistants on the market were basically toys, and not easily extensible. I was looking for something that I could update and apply to the challenges I face in my life, and would also respect my data and my privacy. Since I believe that there is no ethical alternative to free and open source software, it was a no-brainer for me to start work on Athena and the Sapphire Framework.

My goal is to make the development of Athena, the Sapphire Framework, and other open source tools my only job. Your sponsorship helps me move towards achieving that goal. These funds will go to covering the overhead in my life as well as afford me the tools I need to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot the projects, ultimately leading to better tools for everyone
