Feature request: Add top padding for small files

Describe the problem

I have 2nd monitor in portrait mode, when open small files or create a new file, the first line is always on the very top.
We can use set so and zz for the "bottom padding" but not possible for top.
It will be great if we can add top padding automatically for small files, and maybe adjust the top padding height base on the content height while editing

Hey @kukat, thanks for using the plugin and for the feature request!

The plugin does not support adding padding to top-bottom of the screen because it would more be the role of a "popup" window to have padding on all sides

I can try to investigate a solution in order to have a vertical centering for portrait screens, will let you know how it goes! Don't hesitate to submit ideas if you have any :D

Any news on this? I would love this feature as well, perhaps as a different plugin?

Hey, I might be able to introduce this as an option but have other priority fixes first, once I'm done with #375 I might dedicate some time for this one!
