A question about GIT repository mirrors #2413
Comments
https://rms-support-letter.gitlab.io/ is updated hourly |
I've made a checkout at https://git.sr.ht/~tyil/rms-support, which is a completely foss platform. I also opened a mailinglist (https://lists.sr.ht/~tyil/rms-support) to which people can send their patches. |
@tyll Is that a checkout or a periodic mirror? |

It's a checkout, but I've setup a cronjob to pull from the Github repo's master
branch, and push it towards the Sourcehut master branch, effectively creating a
mirror.

While I doubt this repository will receive a lot of complaints, it isn't "trending" either and it's better to be prepared for the removal: in that case removing it makes less sense. :P
How many mirrors does it have? What about GitLab mirror and mirrors on other, more free platforms? Excuse me if somebody asked that already.
