Less intrusive session refresh notification

In the desktop app for MacOS, a modal message pops up when it is time to refresh the session. This is slightly annoying, because it distracts you with a bouncing Chatty icon in the dock. Would it be possible to make this less intrusive, e.g. graying out the window contents and putting a button/link on top to refresh?

Not sure if this request should be on chatty-server, but the UI repository link returns 404.
