Hi! The joycons seem to connect and track fine and I can use my keyboard to sort through menus, type etc. However, I can't figure out how to choose a different coach after selecting a song. Any tips?

Are you using JD 2016-19? If so, the only way to select a coach is by connecting a phone, then disconnecting it and reconnecting a Joy-Con in its place.
