update to python 3

dont know if this is still supported cause the last response is 5 years old.
Is it possible or maybe already happend, that this code syntax is/was updated to python 3?

Hi rebrik,

i have another problem. After i getting started with opensim python i'm struggeling right now with the vtp files. Everytime i run a calculation i get a [warning] Couldn't find file 'xyz.vtp'. where xyz is just a space for a lot of files. Anywhere in the Codestream from cpp to py has to be a wrong directory input. but i couldn't find it so far. i think its still a python2 to python3 conversation problem. is there a chance you can send me a updated version of your code that works?

maybe this is easier/faster than searching through the whole code for bugs.
