I have everything set as admin and have done all the things mentioned in all the other threads and it still does not work! I think I did mention this but again, the files can crap out with little or all most all of it downloaded. There seems to be no method to its madness! |

I am having the exact same issue. I'm running Windows 22H2 and qbitorrent versions 5.0.2 and it and the one prior version. I have attached a screenshot. I'd be happy to help debug this, just tell me how. |

I confirm that there is an error. There are simply no retries for this issue. The developers need to add a check for availability at least once every N minutes. I experience this after the network blinks and access to the file storage is lost. |

Availability of what? The network? The Seeder?
I experience this after the network blinks and access to the file storage
is lost.
My file storage is the hard drive of the computer that is running
qbittorrent.
3TB drive, over 1TB free.
No NAS or anything else.

qBittorrent & operating system versions
qBittorrent: 5.0.2 x64
Operating system: Windows 11 Pro x64 (24H2) Build 26100.2314
What is the problem?
I have been using your software for over 2 years now and have never had an issue until now! Small files seem to download OK. About 300mgb or less. Anything larger and I get an I/O error saying that access is denied and the file is in upload mode only. It can download only a fraction of the file or almost the entire file before the error happens. There is no pattern to this. I can restart the torrent and it will instantly produce this error. It will keep producing this error until I delete the torrent. I have checked all the permissives on the drive and all the sub folders and all is fine. All users have total access to read and write to the folders. I have even gone as far as to run the same torrent with uTorrent and it has no problems working with the same drive and folders. Seems this all started with the last update to your software. I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall, even downgraded to a later working version 4.6.7 x64 and still have the issue. I really do not want to return to using uTorrent! Please fix this! Please respond to me directly if possible. [email protected]
