Possible Items/Content:

  • Stickers
  • Banners
  • Tees (up to a certain number)
  • Signage
  • Meetup (or equivalent ) membership
  • Netlify (or equivalent) hosting
  • Resources or budget for first meetup/training/seminar
  • Canva (or equivalent) design account
  • ?????

Thoughts:

Some sort of "get up and running" set of things. What we'd want to do is think of what the bottom and top "pricetag" would be -- or if we'd want to provide either the items OR a $$ a chapter could spend on analogous items.

Django Girls have a Workshop Box and a Resources Pack. I think we should create something that is a combination of the two. So , what @BethanyG said and also balloons and email templates (for sponsorship requests etc)

I like this idea :) but it will directly relate to how much funds/fundraising we have. It's also extremely difficult to manage inventory as well as shipping everything. So perhaps we provide a budget for chapter organizers to use on getting physical things (stickers, signage, etc) from their local vendors, in addition to providing non-physical things (meetup membership, hosting, assets that are ready to print, etc).

Putting org notes here so I don't forget them.

Sticker Mule sponsors dev and other community organizations for stickers (link to slack discussion here).

Here is a link to Sticker Mule's rules around that: Will You Sponsor My Organization? & Sponsorship Form
