Creating a image ending because of a corruption launch the latest selected image

If you try to create a new image and have a corruption, the error explaining the corruption is caught by the creation command and a dialog is shown to the user.

The problem is that this does not prevent the UI from launching the image. Since there is no new image, it launches the currently selected image.
