I have two alarm panels. They are both integrated. They have almost identical setup.

One of them lists all areas as expected.

The other one only lists 3 out of 6.

What could be the reason of this?

ok. i think I found the problem. Because I have two integrations added, it is unable to generate unique ids

Platform hikvision_axpro does not generate unique IDs. ID subsys-1 already exists - ignoring alarm_control_panel.xxxx

Sadly original integration did not even support areas and I really did not see a reason to have 1 HA aka 1 home to have multiple of security systems.

Personally I use multiple HA for different locations. because then I can detect "position" of the person being "at home".

It can be fixed just right now but it will change the zones "ID" in HA.

it is technically the same location but it is a very large area. Therefore two AXPRO hubs are used but integrated to a single HA.

So you are fixing it?

thank you

How about this. Make it a config variable. So if people have multiple integrations, they can click a checkbox or give a unique label, so that it gets appended to the ID to prevent clash

It will be probably some random of device system id md5 or something
Or ip prefix/sufix.
More stuff to configure = more problems

It’s all fine honestly.

Is it one lime of code to change with random device id?
