Loading NewRelic Agent and JSON logging in pactfoundation/pact-broker Docker image

Hey there !

I have successfully setup Pact broker instance - the process was super-easy to do on Kubernetes even with a custom helm chart.

Now, to get some of the APM/telemetry data I would like to achieve the following:

• add NewRelic Ruby Agent (I do already have proper environment variables set in the execution environment)
• change logging formatter to JSON for automated parsing of the logs into fields for ELK

Wanted to ask - would these be achieveable by just adding additional Gems and perhaps overriding the configuration or would I need to actually make some code changes and build entire solution ? Maintaining a fork is for sure not an option for me. Could not find anything regarding logging or NewRelic (except some old and closed issues which would suggest that the agent was actually included in the past).

You can actually disregard the question on JSON logging, I just discovered PACT_BROKER_LOG_FORMAT env ;)

You can submit a PR with the following

pact_broker.gemspec

gem "newrelic_rpm", "~> 9.12"

lib/pact_broker/initializers/new_relic.rb

if ENV["PACT_BROKER_NEW_RELIC_AGENT_ENABLED"] == "true"
  ENV["NEW_RELIC_LOG"] = "stdout"
  require "newrelic_rpm"
end

and require the initializer file at the top of lib/pact_broker/app.rb (probably - I haven't checked the new relic docs to see exactly where it's supposed to be loaded, that's my best guess)
