Selectable spectral lines based on the spectral "window" of a technical goal

When a user adds a spectral window to a technical goal should we provide a list of selectable spectral lines found within that range from at least one online catalogue e.g., splatalogue, if not desirably a number of catalogues?

If a user later decides to modify the spectral window then, depending on whether that window has been extended or reduced, we can either add more choices to the spectral line selection or remove those that no longer exist within the window, respectively. More accurately, the number of selectable spectral lines will reflect the results returned from querying the online catalogues with the supplied spectral window range.

do you mean like this UI, (taken from the current OT from ALMA)

this is what is accessed when trying to add a spectral window, which is not done manually.
its not implimented in the NGOT, which is why that button is disabled there.

Yes something similar to this. Given the already squeezed space in the technical goal panel if we were to add similar detail and functionality to our selectable spectral lines we will likely have to rethink the layout for spectral windows e.g. additional modals or separate pages or use of tabs or whatever.
