I have a lot of notes/memos from other software and since years ago.
To move these notes to orgzly, I would need an import function.

In my opinion the easiest way would be an export function to csv file, so it is possible to see fields order and add format the data to import following that order.

Have you moved your previous data to orgzly? how?

What's the format that software exports to? Do you have some examples? Perhaps that output can be easily converted to Org format which Orgzly uses.

Supporting more formats is planned (#196, #368), but that makes sense only if notebooks in those formats are useful elsewhere too. For one-time import writing a converter should be enough.

For example Palm desktop or Outlook 2016 can export Notes to .CSV(comma separated values), and the iOS/android PIM suite Dejaoffice can sync with Palm desktop or Outlook.

On the other hand some android apps have the database in sqlite and accessible to users, for skilled users it is easy to extract to a csv file and adjust columns in Excel o libreCalc, so it would make possible the interoperability.
