Github orgs have special repositories, like .github & templates. They are obviously useful, but are noisy and may be extra-private (like the cla-signatures repository).
I'd like to make them invisible from normal members. Mostly as convenience to get them out of the usual/frequently used lists, but also the signatures have everyone's github alias in it which is, I think, not great to expose to every member as a json file for privacy reasons. (Sure, someone could probably scrape the team, but at least it's an extra inconvenience.)
I think there are two options...
Change the default member access for repos to public - i.e. they see no private repos by default, and every private repo will need to explicitly add the default member access setting to read or write. Or...
I don't know, that's the question...
