As a big fan of Linux Mint and ZenBook laptops, I've been trying to get the audio (built-in speakers) working properly on the ZenBook Duo UX481FL and ZenBook 14 UX433FN, but haven't had much luck so far. On Windows 11, the audio from the built-in speakers is top-notch, but when I boot into Linux Mint (dual boot), the audio sounds distorted, and as though it's being pumped out of a tin can. I tried a number of workarounds, such as reinstalling and reconfiguring PulseAudio, alsa and alsamixer, but none of them seemed to resolve the issue. The audio also seems to fade out and stop working randomly, but that seems to be resolved by disabling secureboot and fast boot in the BIOS. It would be great if you could consider improving or adding in audio support for ZenBooks. Thank you.
