Like Windows File Explorer, Nemo correctly handles file name conflicts at the end, after transferring all items without a file name conflict, which saves time compared to interrupting the process at the moment the file name conflict is found.
However, if an error occurs with the dialogue that has the "Cancel", "Skip All", "Skip", "Retry" options, Nemo does not wait until the end but interrupts the process midway through. An example for this is copying a file with a : character in the name to a file system that does not support it. This should be no reason to interrupt the file transfer process. The error needs to be skipped for now and handled at the end.
