I'm trying to setup a network that has restricted access restricted to HTTPS and Sensor.Community's IP addresses only. Sadly, the documentation of the Sensor.Community API has no detailed description of networking rules.

I found the default HTTPS port of 443 to be working. For IP addresses, I obtained following information:

dns.google
address: 8.8.8.8
name: api.sensor.community
addresses: 85.214.67.97, 81.169.180.11

Am I fine restricting my network to these two IP addresses? Are there any other IP addresses on different DNS servers?

Hello,
we may change the IP addresses of servers. This is one of the reasons for using DNS names for the servers. Newer firewall software should also be able to use the DNS names
Such changes may be needed in cases like upgrades of the OS or the hardware.
