Expected Behavior

I want to see normal button sizes.

Current Behavior

But these buttons are too small, I used to download OBS and everything was normal size, but now everything is so small that I can not normally point the cursor. Buttons on docks are smaller than the cursor (screenshot didn't allow to capture the cursor and you can't see it)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install OBS
2. Install Stream Elements add-on
3. uninstall SE

Anything else we should know?

Now after reinstalling OBS several times and on other versions, the problem has not resolved.

Just to confirm from the reproduction steps, this only occurred after installing the SE plugin? Have you tested running OBS in portable mode without this plugin?

As I said, after removing the plugin, these button resizing didn't change. Next I tried reinstalling the current version of OBS, but the problem remained even on a clean OBS without the plugin. Then I thought that the button sizes were changed in the new version of OBS (I downloaded the program this summer), so on the release page I tried installing some early version (not beta) programs, but even so nothing changed.

Are you using any kind of DPI/UI scaling on your display?

I'm pretty sure I don't use something like that.

I understand that reinstalling did not fix the issue, but keep in mind that a reinstall does not affect user settings and the plugin might have changed something there.

A test in portable mode to see if the issue still occurs would be helpful here.

According to the guide on the site, I did exactly the same thing.

It looks like you are indeed using DPI scaling:

14:41:20.412: dpi=144 (150%)

Try turning that off to see if that resolves the issue.

EDIT: Setting the option to 100% means it will not be scaling.

I'm confused. The only thing I could think of was the display settings in the settings. But I've always had it on and never had any problems before.

I don't use any other third-party programs that can change scaling

DPI scaling issues are, unfortunately, very finnicky and often unclear what causes them to just break like that. Many of them are bugs in Qt that need to be fixed upstream that we have no control over.

We have also had other reports where the SE plugin has known to break scaling in OBS: #7579

We don't really know why.
