Based on whole mouse brain scRNAseq + MERFISH - there are transcriptomically distinct types of astyrocytes in different brain regions:

Telencephalon
Cerabellum
Olfactory areas
Sub-telencephalic

Consider adding these subtypes with text making clear that they are transcriptomically distinct.
